The EK-50 L is a specialised version of Korgs popular EK-50 arranger keyboard optimised for live performance. Its packed with over 700 great sounds and 290 auto-accompaniment style presets, and its equipped with high-volume stereo speakers, plus advanced recording and playback features and LED buttons for easy navigation. The EK-50 L sports a sleek chassis with a durable rubberised black finish thats wear-resistant for years of use.

The EK-50 L represents Korg’s entry into a previously unexplored segment of the affordable arranger market. It is a basic instrument, but its development has benefited from Korg’s long experience in the manufacture of professional pianos and MIDI controllers. In addition to the rich equipment and quality workmanship, it also offers intuitive controls with a clear display, in which both the beginner and the professional player will not get lost.

The keyboards contain a total of 790 realistic sounds, 59 types of percussion and drums, 200 types of keyboard instruments and more than 290 accompaniments and 64 musical styles. The number of effects, of which you can apply 34 types with many variations, is not lacking either; 19 demo tracks will also please.

Especially beginners will be delighted by the automatic accompaniments, which will playfully replace your entire band. Even the touch of a single key or chord can instantly generate a complex musical backing. Thanks to the recording function, you can record your ideas and easily distribute or work with them further. The keys are equipped with an amplifier with two powerful speakers, and of course you can also connect headphones for quietpractice.

Rich connectivity includes a pair of headphone outputs in addition to a pair of connectors for connecting to a computer and flash drive, an Audio In input for connecting a phone or MP3 player, and two mono line outputs. There is also a connector for connecting an optional footswitch. Power supply is handled via the included AC adapter, but a practical bonus is the possibility of battery operation – on eight alkaline pencil batteries, the manufacturer guarantees a battery life of around seven hours.
