EWI CA311 3 Pin Female XLR to Male 1/4″ TRSBarrel Adaptor
This is handy if you have a XLR patch cable that you need to plug into the input of an effects device with a female 1/4″ TRS panel jack.
Wiring: The 1/4″ TRS connection is hardwired straight through to the FXLR connection with:
1) Tip of the TRS connection wired to pin #2 of the FXLR connection.
2) Ring of the TRS connection wired to pin #3 of the FXLR connection.
3) Sleeve of the TRS connection wired to pin #1 of the FXLR connection.
There’s nothing really special about this connector other than it’s inexpensive, and fully compatible with standard 3 pin XLR connections and 1/4″ TRS connections. This is a solid built barrel adaptor suitable for professional applications. The body is nickel silver finished metal. The contact points are reasonably good quality spring steel.
