The Scotsman Prodigy Plus 22″ Air Cooled 240V Nugget Ice Machine is designed to meet the high ice demands of commercial businesses such as restaurants, bars, and institutions. With the ability to produce up to 956 lb of ice per day, this unit delivers soft, chewable nugget ice, which displaces more liquid than cubed ice, reducing syrup costs in mixed drinks and fountain beverages. Additionally, nugget ice melts more slowly than traditional ice, keeping drinks cooler without diluting them as quickly.This model is built with energy efficiency in mind, using up to 40% less water and 15% less energy compared to traditional cubed ice machines. It consumes 3.65 kWh of energy per 100 lbs of ice produced and uses 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lbs. The air cooled condenser uses 100 gallons of water and requires a 208-230V electrical connection for operation.To reduce maintenance time, the Scotsman Prodigy Plus comes with AutoAlert lights to indicate when it’s time for descaling and sanitizing, as well as removable panels for easy access to internal components.
