This ice type is perfect for mixed drinks and fountain beverages, as it displaces more liquid than traditional cubed ice, reducing syrup costs per cup. Unlike cubed ice, nugget ice also melts slower, ensuring drinks stay cold without diluting too quickly.Designed with energy and water efficiency in mind, this unit uses 40% less water and 15% less energy than traditional ice machines, helping to reduce both operational costs and environmental impact. It consumes just 4.04 kWh per 100 lbs of ice produced and uses 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lbs of ice. Additionally, the machines air-cooled condenser uses 100 gallons of water for optimal operation.The Prodigy Plus model is easy to maintain with AutoAlert lights that indicate when it’s time to descale and sanitize, ensuring prolonged performance with minimal downtime. The removable panels allow for easy access to the unit’s internal components and diagnostics interface, and the removable, reusable air filter reduces maintenance frequency.With stainless steel construction for durability and a modular installation type, this unit is designed for flexibility and long-lasting service.
