Compliant withThe EDIMAX ONVIF switches series greatly enhances IP surveillance network systems; it supports the ONVIF Profile Q standard, which is compatible with working ONVIF compliant Profiles G/Q/S/A/C/T/M devices to provide fast and easy system settings, device discovery, and user authentication.
While general Ethernet switches have a distance restriction of 100 metres, the GS-5216PLC long-range mode provides extended power and data delivery distance to 200 metres (656 ft.) at 10Mbps full-duplex operation on a per-port basis. It’s ideal for long-distance applications such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, access points, and PoE-enabled IoT devices at remote locations.
In addition to a web-based GUI to keep track of port power, the GS-5216PLC features an intuitive 4-digit LED display showing its power consumption. System integrators can check the total power budget, power consumption per port, and available power left. All with a single hardware select button.
Each port is equipped with power back feed protection to avoid damaging the PoE ports while the non-standard PSE (Power Sourcing Equipments) are connected.
