The Avalon Desk offers both beauty and function with drawer storage and ample desktop space. Crafted from oak and thick oak veneerthe Avalon features a Carrara marble top with an elegantly chamfered edge.

Marble

The Avalon has been crafted from Italian Carrara marble, renown for its white and blue grey appearance. Found in mountainous regions, marble is a calcium carbonate-based stone formed by extreme heat and pressure resulting in a crystalline material. Every piece has veins of mineral patterns which make up its unique appearance. Easy to polish and excellent heat resistance, marble is a durable surface however it is porous and care must be taken, especially with acidic spills. Marble will develop its own patina over time depending on the level of care you give it.
